Private Tales Of Behemoths and Bastard Princes

A private roleplay only for those invited by the first writer
Naghi moved around the creature, his foot steps lost within the rumble of its own movements.

His fingers tightened around the handle of his axe, the cold steel growing red hot as the Behemoth spun to strike Argath once more. It's roar was ear splitting, claw punctured by spear as it reared in agony and pain.

There the Half-Giant saw his opportunity.

With four great strides Nagji rushed forward and broke through the canopy of trees. His fingers wrapped around a high branch, and then like a much smaller man he launched himself up.

A roar escaped him as he soared through the air, axe coming up high as he reached down and struck the blade into the behemoths skin. The hot edge of his axe bit into the creatures flesh, carving a gash three times it's length before burying itself in place and becoming a hold for Naghi to hang on to.

His other hand wrapped around a nearby spike, clinging to the creatures back.

Argath watched as the creature roared once again, stomping it's way to Argath. Out of the corner of his eye he spotted Naghi parading around the tree in a way that made him think Naghi's mother was a wood elf. He was going to mount the beast, and find a way to attack it from atop it's hide.

Argath could work with that.

Eschewing his normal slicing discs, Argath instead conjured throwing spears, focusing the impact to a single point. He threw to the side opposite Naghi, provoking the beasts attention away from his brother as it charged. It pulled over it's arms, shielding it's torso from Argath's spears.

As the beast grew closer Argath knew he couldn't keep his position. Rather than try to outrun or block the creature's claw Argath ran towards the beast, conjuring a greatsword as he went. Narrowly evading the behemoth's strike he went towards the beast's legs, trying to find and slice anything that resembled a tendon.

Reactions: Naghi
Naghi could not see what Argath was doing, but he felt his brothers efforts as the beast shuffled and moved about.

The creature seemed to ignore him on it's back, either too consumed with the workings of his sibling or it's carapace to thick to feel him move. Quickly the Half-Giant removed his axe, burying it higher in the creatures flesh as he began to climb.

His fingers flexed and grasped at the spikes, holding himself firm even as the Behemoth shuffled along.

He felt it move beneath him, a great roar escaping it's maw as Argath sliced into it's leg.

Naghi scowled, and then hopped upward upon it's back. With one great stride he landed at the base of his neck, then raised his axe. "Now die like so many others."

The Half-Giant said as he raised his axe and began savagely chopping at the creatures neck.
