It was a fine day at the Astenvale Monastery and Tulgan had whiled away the morning busying himself with his studies in the Pursuit of Life. Although he had only taken his oath to become a knight sworn no more than two years ago, he was determined to become a Knight Pursuant before too many more years passed him by. Like so many things in life, it was all about applying himself. Or at least, that was Tulgan's opinion on the matter. So, he had rounded up as many resources on medicine and healing as he could and tried to sort the wheat from the chafe in his own notes. When the opportunity presented itself, he would test out the most promising new methods on willing patients, hoping to one day have curated a long list of only the most effective non-magical treatments for all of the most common ailments.

In the Monastery's infirmary, the knight had kept his head down, working diligently and without breaks... Well, mostly. There had been whisperings of a large and unusual newcomer in their midst in recent days. Massive and lizard-like, had been struck by a boulder and shrugged it off like it was a pebble. All this and more had reached the Orc's ears. He had chosen to ignore most of it so far, but still, with so many rumours circulating the reality must have been quite interesting.

At any rate, if it was true that this new arrival had been injured, Tulgan was sure he would see her for himself before long.

Melfa

Komodi maybe weren't the most intelligent of peoples to grace the lands of Arethil, but they shared no lack of pride in their foggy heritage and culture. Melfa was no outlier of this trend. Having spent a handful of days at the Monastery now, she'd put a large dent in the food stores and spent much the rest of her time sleeping off the abuse collected within the warband. After all, she'd been in that pit cell for ... well, she hadn't kept track.

Long enough that the Komodo was ready and able to devour an errant Knight and his horse given the opportunity. Alas, such things were frowned upon here.

She'd mostly declined any offer of seeing their Medic and played off her pain as simple stiffness from her previous constrained quarters. But at some point she'd attempted to remove her armor from her upper body and there simply was no shrugging it off. Melfa could not even shrug due to the edema across her upper back. Swallowing her pride, the beasty creature decided that maybe it was time for a Healer's hand. If nothing else, her scales were itching for a sand bath and sunbake and she couldn't do either until the armor came off.

Her oversized silhouette filled the entryway of the infirmary and her golden eyes glinted as she spied the healer in question. The komodo's head tilted in intrigue.

"Green man take Melfa's armor off," she stated with such assurance as to leave him rather little say in the matter.
