Looking for one or two to continue trying to make a plot thread happen, while ironing out some... characterization issues.
Aeyliea is working for a strange employer. The creature - man or woman, she has no idea which - sought her out specifically in Alliria for a job that they are willing to pay an incredible amount of coin for, and a fair but of it up front. But the employer is strange if verbose; they speak like a court jester and act like one, too. If a jester kept everything veiled in secrecy and prose and riddles, and if they kept running into the most dangerous situations imaginable. The nameless patron seldom answers any questions, and even less frequently aids in the trouble he helps them find.
Only one thing is clear: they are searching for something in or around the Aberessai Savannah. Whatever it is, it is tied to Aeyliea and the No'rei in some way (or at least the Seer is convinced of such). The shrouded man adds to his crew and subtracts to it without rhyme or reason. Only Aeyliea is not allowed to break from the contract.
I do not have anything set in mind for specifics on the road to revelation. Ridiculous as the patron is, the tone of the thread will still be serious.
