Called himself Eamon Stroud that one did.

Didn't use a lot of words. Other than asking 'bout where things were and whats-it like that. Almost seemed lost really how he was asking.

Got plenty of blades on him though. Heard him fore I saw him. Clanking up the road on that old nag.

Appearance

Clad in well tended armor beneath a road worn cloak, the raspy voice beneath it all gives away little besides an air of self assurance.

A full helmet covers the face of the person beneath all of the protective armor. An aventail of mail can be seen extending from the edges of the helm clear down the shoulders and throat covering both front and back before disappearing beneath the collar, cuirass, and pauldrons.

The helm is of intricate design, a stark contrast for all the wear and tear most every other piece of steel about him carries.

A solid steel collar is mounted atop the cuirass he wears, partly hidden by the hood that covers the majority of the helm, further protecting his head and neck from strikes. Leading down from the pauldrons, rondels protect the outer edges of the elbows, mated with a couter to fully protect the joint. The measure of arm protection ending with long sleeved gauntlets with articulating fingers.

Examination of the gauntlets shows the finger plates rest on the handle of a blade, transferring the impact of strikes to better protect the hands and ensure their hold of a weapon.

Beneath the cloak lies a mail shirt below a full cuirass. The chest and back protected with help from the mail shirt providing protection where the steel plates end. Across his waist rests further armor in the form of tassets connected by a fauld. Spiked greaves rest atop the long cuffed boots he is seen wearing, with sabatons atop the rough footwear as the final piece of armor about him.

Three separate daggers are known to be on his person, one only visible when his gauntlet is rotated forward as a last resort weapon while another rests at his hip and another lies beneath the cloak around his chest in a clipped sheath.

One arming sword near the length of his leg can be seen about his waist, with another hand an a half sword astride it that reaches from his boots to stomach when held beside him.

Skills and Abilities

Fatal bladework - Little can be said about the man's ability to wield a piece of steel aside from avoid being on the receiving end of his attention. Skilled with a variety of tactics and training, be it single handed with either sword or dagger. Or dual-wielding either swords, daggers, or one each. His tactics change with each variation and assessment of his opponent.

Magic - Known to use some forms of the arcane, the range of this art however seems restricted. The most that had been seen has been shown to be personal range spells centered around grappling or grasping the opponent as opposed to the displays put on by dedicated masters of the arcane.

Fortress - Atop being clad in armor from head to toe, Eamon's endurance seems leaps and bounds above what the typical human is capable of. Either through dedicated training or an unknown font of yet unseen ability, the man is capable of not only long distance treks without tiring but also prolonged combat.

Personality

It's difficult for many to put much more than simple phrasing to the being who always seem ever present in armor.

Cold and direct when dealing with locals. Tactful but never overly pleasant even with those that have employed his skills. Whether a side effect of the constancy of his helm or just a quirk of his ways, not every spoken word his direction is given an answer.

What can be said however is the exacting nature of his ways. While cold and direct, the man does not seem to judge what others do. Unless it directly affects his capacity to fulfill his contract, he is content to observe events unfold around him. Lacking the usual sense of imposed fear, he carries himself instead as if he were a man simply biding his time.

Biography & Lore

Not much is recorded about the man going by the name Eamon Stroud.

Hints from only the eldest in far flung villages about similar men bearing the name Stroud can be recalled. As if drawn from nearly forgotten oral stories from a time already lost to time. What little has been shared by Eamon Stroud however is how much he favors his horse. A weather liver-chestnut mare well beyond her prime.

And that his helm does not come off for anyone.

There has been no mention of his childhood, or from where he hails, nevermind who he pledges his allegiance to. He bears no qualm with local or larger Lords and Nobles. Merely plying his sword skills to those willing to pay.
