Ayee. So some might have noticed that there is a witch coven occasionally RPed around here.
The first thread was here, right here.
The coven is called The Daughters of the Leafsie Lord, thus we are sisters in rites.
With the OG gang mostly mia or on a break, it seems like it would be a perfect time to see if there are any new witchy witches around that would love a coven to be with.
The coven, however, is an entirely different kinda style group than one might expect.
RP does not entirely revolve around the coven, our witches, of course, have private lives of their own. I guess imagine it like a part-time group, like a cabal in a sense.
-> There is a great benefit to do some rituals and rites in groups, as well as sharing knowledge or trading herbs or witches' apparatus.
Location is highly variable since the witches come from the whole of Arethil.
-> One perm location is established, it's a cromlech with an altar
might need to look up where it was, I think it was the reach.
The group is as it is; as many members are present, that's how many members are in.
-> This means membership is gained through the approval of one of the members, but a character may also be expelled by popular vote.
-> Expelled members, traitors, betrayers etc, are called warlocks, ofc.
The group leans to also provide services to other individuals and perhaps even factions.
-> Might not be to the taste of everyone, but this bridges opportunity between various pockets of people.
-> Want to summon a demon? BAM call the witches. They know what to do.
The general idea, at least when creating this group, it was to see how witches of various creeds and backgrounds would interact with each other. With each of a witches' different rite styles and demands for communal rituals, there is unlimited possibilities for both IC growth and fun learning. Asuego of course, is a cutter-witch, but what kind of witch is yours?

Dictionnaire Demonica - For those of us that like the demonic shenanigans, Some sections pending to be created and expanded upon, like the apparatus, notable historic figures...
There's also the Leafie lord, Earthern mother and the Horned huntsman deities that were established in relation to the coven one way or another.
