I have started a thread (The Essence of Being) specifically intended for another player who decided they didn't have time to continue. I'm not sure on the remaining player's continued interest but I would like a replacement for Argos the golem, so I've changed the thread to being Open and Seretha is on the way to Crossroad Mire to pick up additional help.
We can change around basically anything to suit anyone interested and I'm not super tied down to things that have already happened. If you start in Crossroad Mire, though, then what has already occurred makes little difference at all, so you don't really need to play any catchup. I'm fully willing to just continue by myself if need be since I wanted this thread to be crucial to Seretha's development as a character as she works toward her goals, but I would certainly have more fun with another character or two joining.
Seretha engages in a little light necromancy, basically creating simple, short-term automatons without slaving souls to them. She can do more but I tend to want to keep things a little more grounded with her.
Let me know if there's any interest, if you have any questions, etc.
