Alliria was a city of contrasts. There was the ancient inner city, the sprawling outer city, and then there were the slums. Three distinct worlds but all part of Alliria. It was not easy to cross over from one world to the other. Someone from the inner city risked their life if they were caught in some of the slums. Most slum dwellers would never even get close to the strongholds of the elite, the guards made sure of that. Yet William crossed the line every night. His livelihood was in the inner city, he'd starve otherwise. Scaling walls, vaulting rooftops, he'd slip by guard patrols and tired sentries, venturing right into the world of the nobility.

He ran along the rooftop, sure footed and nimble. Leaping down, he dropped six foot to the next level of the building. He was a dark shadow flitting along the roof beams. People were always too busy watching their feet, they never bothered to look up.

The inner city offered rich pickings but at far greater risk. Getting in was rarely a problem. Getting back out with the loot and remaining undetected was the main issue. William crouched at the edge of a roof and studied the drop. Four stories up, he'd not be walking away if he messed up now.

He twisted to the side and hooked his grapnel on. Looping the rope loosely about his body, he abseiled down, kicking off the wall to give himself more momentum. On the third swing he let go, vaulting backwards to land on the wall.

And there was the building he was looking for. What the bounty was about.
"GO in there, kill the rival, collect the information and out." he repeated to himself, giving a smug chuckle "How hard could that be?" this was no challenge for the veteran bounty hunter, even less with his skills to back him up. He could go in his werewolf form, but a giant beas t like that would alert the security guards in seconds. His human form allowed him to crawl in small places and be slighty more agile, the wolf was faster, more lethal in combat. But he wanted to do this mission in stealth mode.
He was on a rooftop on the other side of the building. He saw through the dark rain a shadow leaping through roof to roof. This was no guard-like behavior. It was an intruder.
"Interesting. Looks like I'm not alone." he said, jumping out, rolling when he hit the next rooftop and ran towards the building "Just you wait, intruder... let's see if you can take me on..."
