Aoife Julaía was born and raised Mirlone, where she spent her youth studying and perfecting her abilities as a seer in The Dusk Court. Upon her 20th birthday she left the court to pursue an independent life in Alliria. However, she's maintained good relations and still returns every year for The Twilight Confluence. Aoife currently runs a small service in The Inner City where she acts as a seer and healer for anyone who who can pay.

Aoife is tall and thin, with pale skin and dark features. While working she often wears dark robes and a veil, for "That seer kinda look" as she's so elegantly stated. In her free time she's much more casual, losing the veil and dawning a more sensible outfit. She's missing her ring and pinky finger on her left hand, which she has drafted a few different stories for. The last thing of note are her ears, pointed like a normal fae's but bearing a small chip on her left one.

Healing: She is a moderately skilled healer, mostly consulted for her knowledge of herbs and their medical applications. For more serious cases she can summon her magick from the ley line that runs through her apartment, but usually just refers the patient to a real physician.

Seeing: Aoife is a very talented seer, who can receive visions when she calls them. This is her main practice, and she has a long list of clients who seek her advice in all aspects of life. Her talents are growing, but her visions are often cryptic and left to interpretation.

Combat: While not known for her combat skills, she does have some incredible talent with a dagger. She's also very swift in making an escape, or breaking someone's grasp.
Stealth: Another skill that takes a backseat, but Aoife is quick and able to stay undetected when she needs to. She's also a surprisingly good climber, which has gotten her out of many "iffy" situations.

Aoife is fiercely independent, and is not one to take orders. She loves a good laugh, and is never one to turn down a drink. While she'd never say it out loud, she does care deeply about each of her clients, and tries her hardest to do right by them. On the flipside Aoife can be prone to long bouts of depression. Often sequestering herself indoors during these periods. She has a darkness within that she keeps hidden away, but there is always a deep pain that hides itself well behind her eyes.

Aoife Julaía was born to the Mystic Niamh Julaía, who died very shortly after childbirth. The father is unknown. She grew up under the care of a number of different Seers and Oracles, who all took turns as her guardian. Aoife found her talents as a Seer at the age of 8, beginning her studies and working to hone her abilities. She was notorious for getting lost when she was growing up, often disappearing for hours into the forests of Allir Reach. Often she'd return with no recollection of where she'd been, or even that any time had passed.
As a teen she had a small group of friends with whom she was inseparable. Aoife's companions were Caillan, Harim, Yira, and Molli. They all studied/practiced together and spent countless hour exploring the forests, searching for rare herbs and getting into all kinds of harmless trouble. At 18 she and Molli began a romantic relationship, sharing a kiss at The Twilight Confluence, after which the two fell madly in love.
However, none of this lasted long as her romance and friendship was tragically cut short. That summer, Aoife had contracted a serious illness and was bedridden for over a week. At this time her friends had gone on a two-day expedition in search of an extremely rare plant that was rumored to be blooming deep in the western forests. They had all visited beforehand to bring her some food and reading material, spending an hour wishing her well and administering some medicine. Molli kissed her on the forehead, and that was the last time she saw any of them. After her fever broke, Aoife discovered that five days had gone by with no word. A search soon began, where the bodies of Harim and Caillan were found mutilated and lying in a creek bed. Molli and Yira were never found, but a few of their personal belongings were strewn about along with shreds of the rare plant they'd been after.
This broke Aoife, who spent her 19th birthday and the following year holed up in her room, only rarely emerging to get food. When she finally came out and returned to her studies, she was missing her left ring & pinky fingers, as well as a small chunk of her left ear. When asked about it, she'd simply change the subject.
Aoife left a day after turning 20, without even saying goodbye. She moved to The Outer City of Alliria, getting a room above an Inn where she worked as a barmaid for a time. Slowly people had begun to consult her for her seeing abilities, as well as her medical knowledge. After a year or so she was offered a contract by a Human Noble within The Inner City, and acted as his family's live-in seer, advising them on business and financial decisions. The job was entirely unfulfilling, but paid immensely well. In time Aoife had saved up enough to get a permanent apartment, and began her current work as a seer/healer for hire.
Aoife lives alone, and keeps no close friends. She is however a regular at "The Raven's Vice", where she takes her morning coffee and evening pint.
