Mysa Polafelon
Appearance
Mysa Polafelon a young woman who in her mid-twenties. She's red haired, the color like gentle blood blooming from a wound. Her eyes are a deep amber but seem brownish to most. Her skin is pale, tinged-yellow like ivory and is just as delicate. She stands at five foot seven and is quiet proud of it, strutting around with her shoulders back and held high to mask the hidden insecurities in her eyes. Mysa's usual garb is anything dark and earth colored, especially anything red, like maroon or mahogany. During warm weathers her attire is very revealing, exposing her stomach, arms, and neck without much of a care. In the winter she wears the thickest of leathers with the cloth reaching up her neck, leaving nothing victim to the cold. As with everything she wears her usually cape that's part down the middle like flapping flags. Mysa is rarely seen without at least one of her two swords; she uses both for battles and challenges.
Skills and Abilities
Mysa prefers physical strength to magic. Besides wielding her two swords, Mysa is fluent in the arts of archery, acrobatics, and dueling. As a child she would fence and swordplay for fun until her aunt urged her take up professional training, in which she eventually fell into duty as one of the guards(wo)man of her village. She has a knack for stealth but is honorable and only uses this skill in dire times. Her aunt, who raised her, was profound in the medicines so Mysa has an idea of how things work in healing. As a bodyguard she improved her perception, dexterity, and endurance.
Personality
Strengths + Perceptive + Adaptable + Loyal + Responsible | Weaknesses: - Anxious - Submissive - Tense - Passive |
She's not particularly good charismatically. Mysa is delicate with everything but her tongue, which is why she learned to speak less. She stumbles on her words, has a hard time with humor, and is the worst at deception; she can't lie to save her life, which is why she rarely speaks. A trillion things run through her mind, along with thoughts fueled with anxiety and self-doubt. Luckily her body acts without thinking, knowing how to move this way and that ever so precisely so Mysa always lets go and leaves her body to do what it needs to do.
Mysa is a very kind individual. She means well and acted purely on good intentions growing up. But of course she was pressured by her peers to act out and stop acting 'like a baby', which meant following the rules. She used to be careless about her image but as she grew older, and began to gather more attraction, she tried to look like someone more mature than she actually is. All that's left is a little girl stuck in an older body who's good at following the rules.
