Because of his skin, weathered from years of battle, and greying hair, Mars looks older than he actually is. His expression is cold and unchanging.

A former Dreadlord of the First Rank, Mars Pallatrix has long since retired from the battlefield. As his age catches up to him, his skills have dulled in response, but he possesses a wealth of knowledge and countless years of experience and remains a fearsome combatant.

His magic is a closely guarded secret; only a select few within the Great House he swore to know his ability. Mars possesses a sixth sense that, for a short duration, allows him to perceive the intent of anyone bearing malice towards him.

Stoic, terse, and detached. As an active-duty Dreadlord, Mars was exceptionally cruel and fierce to his foes and kept few allies. As a Proctor of the Academy, he molds students into shape with uncompromising strictness.

A promising graduate of the Academy, his rise to First was anticipated among the Great Houses. As he swore allegiance and undertook countless missions over his career, he garnered a reputation befitting the ruthless efficiency in which he carried out his duties.

In an inexplicable decision after two decades of service, Pallatrix forfeited all of his earnings, titles, and lands to live out his days as a Proctor of the Academy.
