Grul is a wandering witch doctor who is looking to gather as much knowledge as he can possibly get his hands on. He is a decent healer though that is mainly due to his medical knowledge and potions, his magic is primarily used for combat. He has a terrible bedside man I can come off as prickly but he actually has a very caring heart. He has a tendency to focus one one thing at a time and so he tends to get tunnel vision. Well he has tamped down his kinds mischievous nature a lot with his willpower he can't help but to do harmless mischief every once in a while, as an example he may take something from someone only to then place it back in a slightly different place. He has been to many places and seen many things and yet he's still extremely curious about everything he sees.

<Grul stands at 2 ft 6 in and has a very lean muscular frame this is due to him doing a lot of walking and traveling and because he forgets to eat every now and then. He has quite a few scars across his body and he has a pattern on his face drawn in red dye from a blend of herbs and berries he carries with him. His clothes tend to be a bit more on the worn side, with multiple patches. They also tend to have plenty of pockets and hidden compartments. He wears multiple different pouches and a bandolier with pouches along with two satchels and a backpack. He carries with him a walking stick with multiple different trinkets tied to it with twine and bits of leather and rope. These are things from pretty feathers, shiny rocks, or even bones. His eyes are a yellow color though would not seen from shadows and then direct light they tend to look more golden than bright yellow. His skin is a deep earthy Brown that seems to blend in perfectly with most types of dirt.>

< Grul is a prickly fellow and is gruff in his mannerisms but if you can get past his rough exterior he is very caring, kind, and loyal friend. He can be a bit stubborn at times and tends to focus too much on one thing at a time and can easily overwork himself if someone doesn't remind him to take a break. He has bouts of mischievousness but otherwise keeps his mischievous nature under wraps due to it having backfired and caused problems for him in the past. He has a soft spot for animals and we'll go out of his way to help them if he can.>

<Grul grew up in crossroad Mire and was always fascinated by alchemy and magic. His parents knew a little bit of magic but they weren't the most talented and simply use their magic to make their lives as fishermen easy. While they themselves were not interested in magic as much as their son they did encourage his curiosity and enthusiasm. Grul spent most of his allowance and any money he got from chores or odd jobs he took for neighbors one lessons from the local teachers. He learned alchemy and basic medical practices from a witch named Helen, he learned about magic from a druid and a wizard both separately as they both taught him different ways to draw from the world around him and himself. He learned that certain types of spells did better with druidic practices while others did better with arcane practices. He spent his entire childhood and young adult life learning as much as he could, but it was never enough. So when he came of age she decided to go out into the world to search for magic on his own. To find tomes and scrolls and hermits he could learn from. And ever since he's been wandering the road keeping an eye out for any scrap of magical knowledge. The world has been rough on him and though it has given him a bit of a tough exterior it hasn't killed his curiosity and thirst for knowledge or is innately kind heart.>
