Gargost Durgradon
Gargost Durgradon is a violent thug for hire living in the Residential District of Elbion. Although he hasn't killed anyone, he's not afraid to use his morningstar and heavy crossbow to scare his opponents. In case they fight back, he defends himself with a shield and chainmail armor.
Appearance
With a muscular body over six feet tall, Gargost has a brutish appearance to match his brutish personality. His wavy black hair is often rather greasy due to how much of his life he spends on the road. His otherwise pale face is broken up by his dark eyes and the bags permanently underlining them. His thick eyebrows seem permanently furrowed and his lips are rarely not curled into a scowl.
Skills and Abilities
- Fighting (3/5, Intermediate): Gargost is a competent fighter, especially in melee fights, but he lacks the skill and experience that the average soldier has. He is also quite skilled at unarmed brawling.
- Intimidation (3/5, Intermediate): Gargost intimidates people for living and knows how to threaten people to get what he needs without actually having to hurt them. However, individuals with more power or influence than him have little reason to take him seriously.
- Athletics (2/5, Capable): In addition to intimidating people, Gargost is often hired to serve as muscle. He can shove people around and carry heavy loads fairly easily, but his strength is about as noteworthy as the average mercenary.
- Survival (1/5, Beginner): Gargost has spent a lot of his life traveling through both the wilderness and cityscapes. While he rarely strays off the main paths, he is used to long periods of time without creature comforts.

Personality
Gargost has found that most problems in life can be solved with violence and has made a living as a violent thug for hire. While he often uses threats and other forms of intimidation to do his job, he also recognizes when someone is clearly stronger than him and will defer to them. Despite his overwhelmingly brutish nature, he has yet to kill anyone largely because he refuses to continue hurting someone once he is confident they have been pacified. He respects transparency and people who aren't afraid to demonstrate their power, while he sees schemers and other manipulators as shameful. He also respects people who surrender or are otherwise capable of admitting that they have been beaten. As someone who has lived most of his life as a simple mercenary, he is used to following the orders of people more powerful than himself.
