Finn Glider's partner. Flies-With-Beasts is a habitual thief who also does mercenary work with his partner. Flies is a goofball by other species' standards but for a Krr'chee'aw, he is just obsessed with shiny objects.

Flies-With-Beasts is a little small for a Krr'chee'aw. He's based off black-billed magpies. His skin is a deep brown like fresh mud and his eyes are a bright green with faint yellow flecks. His beak is that of the black-billed magpie. Like all Krr'chee'aw, Flies keeps his beak within his mouth hidden behind his retractable teeth. He also has no hair as with all of his kind. Instead, shiny black feathers adorn his scalp and neck.

His back is covered in black feathers but his belly and sides are white. He has four arms as is common. The main set have black scutes and his winged set is elliptical in shape. His wings are black, dark green, and white in the patterns of the magpie he resembles. His black-scuted legs are digitigrade and anisodactyl. His two tail feather groups are both wedged and long with the main tail body being shiny, dark, iridescent, and green-blue. This coloration is also found on the wedge-shaped feather groups on the base and tip of the tail. His talons are small and black.

- Mental: He is very intelligent. Flies is a natural at problem-solving and determining a potentially threatening situation.
- Physical: In flight he is swift and agile. He has great sleight-of-hand and is a natural pickpocket. If in a fight, he's able to use his talons and beak to average effect and he's fairly decent at using a shortbow.
- Artistic: As with most Krr'chee'aw, Flies is a natural at dancing and singing. Flies in particular is also great at playing the fiddle.

Flies-With-Beasts is considered obsessive by Krr'chee'aw standards. While his kind have a natural appreciation for beauty, Flies takes it a step further and steals shiny objects with reckless abandon before hoarding them. While he will return objects if sufficiently threatened this has landed him in hot water on numerous occasions. This doesn't mean he is cowardly, however. He's brave but doesn't really use this trait for good.

Other species would consider him (and other Krr) to be socially awkward at best and outright offensive at worst. His speech is blunt, honest, and observant to inappropriate levels and he tends to insult by accident. However, in Flies' point of view, he is merely stating facts. He also tends to get involved with musical performances as is his culture which can easily cause him to get in trouble as well.

He has a concept of siblings, but not of other forms of family. He respects nature and will fight to defend it if someone disrespects or damages it. This could even extend to sabotaging logging and hunting (if said hunting is a sport). He deeply respects and reveres the dead but has a natural hatred of nagas.

In summary, Flies-With-Beasts is noble, brave, odd, a kleptomaniac, loyal, playful, and creative.

Krr'chee'aw are the mysterious and isolationist purely bird race found in the southern Ixchel Wilds. They were recently discovered and gradually taught Common. They call Common "Songtongue" due to finding it easier to sing with. They're commonly called Avians due to the difficulty in pronouncing their name and speak a language called Krik that is exclusively spoken in bird calls and sounds. Only the Krr'chee'aw are able to fluently speak Krik without magical assistance.

The Krr'chee'aw used to be split in migratory tribes long ago that never stayed too long in one place lest they damage nature. However, when the naga began to attack and slaughter the small tribes, they banded together into a single nation under Unites-With-Song, the only avian to have a white bellbird's call as her farname. With this newly discovered unity the Krr'chee'aw now stand a more even chance against the naga. However, this war has waged for generations with no clear end in sight, causing the species to be isolationist, xenophobic, and militant. Because the Krr'chee'aw no longer migrate they have a strict emphasis on population control and achieve this with high percentages of single individuals, same-sex couples, and communal raising of broods. This is driven by a religious reverence of nature and is a significant reason they continue to have a stalemate with their natural enemies.

Krr'chee'aw have two names: Their common name that describes who the individual is as a person and their farname, which is a loud bird call used to get their attention from afar. When calling someone using a farname, they alternate between their own and their target's farname to avoid confusion with wild bird calls.
