Filn Stenlager
Appearance
Filn is typical of most dwarves from Belgrath, stout and wide. He is a hearty and well built fellow, with strong arms and legs for lifting and heaving. He often wears traditional dwarven cloth under armor cladding his chest and arms, with dual axes strapped to his back when travelling, or doing mercenary work. When stone setting, he often strips down to little more than his trousers and a loose shirt to keep himself cool.
Skills and Abilities
Filn is an experienced stone setter, a master mason. He is renowned for his work in not only in new construction but also renovation, and repair. His skills were most notably called upon after Menalus' attempted seizure of Belgrath, where Lor Holdrum sustained a great deal of damage. Some say there is even a hint of magic to what he can accomplish with stone.
He is also a well weathered axeman warrior, having fought in many battles including the aforementioned siege. Capable of riding and fighting, and even using a bow, he is a ferocious force on the battlefield with a determination to survive.
Personality
He can come off a little harsh at first, but he is truly a kind hearted person - just sometimes short tempered and stubborn. He will often surrender to the charms of a beautiful woman, but is more difficult to persuade with gold or other jewelry unlike most of his kin.
He is not the most outwardly intelligent, he is not terribly privy to all of the outside world nor is he any master tactician or great adventurer. But he is a master of his craft and is quite confident in what strengths he does have - and is not afraid to boast of it. One of those strengths is his tolerance for alcohol - one of the greatest in all the land, or so he says.
