Sir Lucien Fairway's entire life has been one lie after the next. Originally, born Perrin Stone an orphan in the city of Elbion. He stumbled his way into the college after demonstrating magical abilities. However, he dropped out and left the city within two years suffering from burnout.

He hopped on a wagon heading to the east and never looked back. The next few years were Perrin running from one con to the next, switching faces as quickly as he switched cities. He continued to work on his magic and just tried to survive. The life of a runaway con man can be difficult and it wasn't always easy.

Perrin's life took a strange turn when he found himself encountering an ambush on the road into Oban. He decided to help and managed to save a man from getting killed in front of his eyes. The man was the new crown prince of Oban. When asked for his name, Perrin chose "Lucien Fairway."

It was this name that would seal his fate. He would serve for the next several years as the eyes and ears of the crown prince. When the crown prince was coronated, he placed Lucien Fairway in charge of a new Knightly Order simply referred to as the Black Order. While on the surface, this knightly order trains and provides the most skilled scouts in the kingdom. More importantly, they secretly serve as the kingdom's spy network.

Lucien's appearances change as frequently as the weather. However, its original appearance is a well-muscled gentleman with well-kept blonde hair and blue eyes. He has really taken a liking to fine clothing ever since his appointment to this position.

• Illusion Magic: Lucien's specialty is illusion magic which he has continued to train since his time at the Academy. He mainly uses this to swap his own appearance, but can also alter the world around him. By this point in his life, many would consider him a master in art. His specialties are changing his own appearances and psychological manipulation.
• Thievery and General Skullduggery: Picked up from his years on the run, Lucien is skilled with pickpocketing, breaking and entering, lockpicking, and fraud.
• Knife Fighter: Primarily learned in his service to the King, but he has been training in knife fighting for the past 10 years. He is highly skilled and a dangerous combatant.
• Spymaster: His primary role is to serve as the Kingdom of Oban's spymaster training and managing spies in the kingdom, while also protecting the kingdom from outside forces.
