Not someone to be trifled with, Emmeline, or Emma, is like a brick wall. She's been trained to use a sword by her previous employment as part of the City Watch's Night Watchers. It was a dull job, mostly spent snaring thiefs in her web.

Appearance

Emmeline is a fair woman. She's pale from her times spent in the moonlight. Her brown hair hangs in waves, and verdant eyes were set into her face. She is usually found in her suit of armor, carrying her blades at her hips. The blades are made of silver, and she cherishes them. They were likely a gift. Beneath the bulk of metal though is a slender woman, comely in appearance. Also hidden is a scar in her chest, missing her heart by millimeters. She was lucky to survive, but the white strip of scarring she'd never forget.

Skills and Abilities

  • Sword Mastery
  • Two-Handed Weapon Mastery

Personality

Emmeline is a very stoic woman, rarely showing emotion to those around her. In fact, her reaction to most crime scenes consists of that same emotionless mein. Even in the most awkward or absurd moments don't seem to phase her. She is loyal to a fault.

Biography & Lore

  • At sixteen, the worst happened to Emma and her family. Someone, probably a criminal, broke into their home and slaughtered her parents. Her brother, Jonathan, hid at her urging. Realizing there was a witness, the killer chased Emma down. Knocking her to the floor and against the wall, he approached and buried his blade in her chest. Thinking she was dead, he left. As she lay dying, a member of the City Watch came to her. He picked her up and carried her out of the bloodied house to a healer. He was a man she'd never forget. She fell for him, and this is why she joined the City Watch. She has no idea where her brother is presently.
