Appearance

He's a plain young man of strong stock. He's tall and charming with the look of a sturdy country boy.
His hair is a little unkempt but it does little to detract from his overall aesthetic.

When he's not dressed in plate armor and wielding a shield and longsword he wears simple commoners clothes with light protection.

Skills, Traits & Weaknesses

Sword and shield: His skill as a knight and protector are considerable. His goal is to protect others, so he uses his shield to that effect. He stands a wall between the evil and the weak.

Knightly Charge: He is skilled with horsemanship and combat from horseback. While not the most talented he can hold his own.

Chef: He's a surprisingly proficient cook! Able to prepare dishes of fine quality from even the most basic of ingredients.
Human Determination: He doesn't care that he isn't special, that he isn't a certain species or possesses some special ability. He sees what he wants and not even impossibility can tell him he cannot have it
He has the heart and soul of a knight.

Personality

He's the stereotypical knight in shining armor. He's kind and generous to those in need in spite of his family and position of nobility.
He's gentle yet strong in both body and soul and he presents himself as a shield of the week, the protector interposed between the helpless and the hostile.

He's pure of heart and purpose. He takes his duties as a knight extremely seriously, his oaths of chivalry and devotion to the law are guiding lights to him, he's taken these traits as his own and made them a part of himself.

Biography

Being born in a noble family, becoming a knight was expected of him. His father was once a knight and so why shouldn't he follow suit?
Chaston wholeheartedly agreed to this line of thinking!
Ever since he was little he loved the stories of knights and dragons and purposed in his heart to be a noble knight like those stories.

Naturally his views changed a bit as he grew older. Less romantic and far more deadly and dangerous... But duty driven with a thirst for what is just and right! He grew to have a strong sense of justice and humility and thus didn't inherit any of the arrogance and high born cruelty that his family tried to instill in him. This caused him to be all but disowned by his family since he refused to fulfill the duties that he saw as immoral overreaches of power and privilege.

In spite of the high standards of his family, and the incredible pressure to conform, he managed to break free from the mold of his cast and vowed to uphold the highest virtues of knighthood that he knew.
