Zull Du'un is a massive lava dragon. Eons of slumber beneath Arethil's surface has caused his scales to fuse with minerals, giving them a stony appearance. Red light radiates from in between the cracks of his scales, indicating the intense heat produced by his body at all times. He constantly sheds ash and stone with his movements, and his flight has been known to darken skies for weeks at a time.

Breath weapon - Fire and Lava: Zull Du'un's body generates immense amounts of heat. Utilizing this, he is able to produce a breath weapon of either fire or lava. The lava is considerably more destructive.

Flight: Despite his immense size and weight, Zull Du'un is an adept flyer and can soar for months at a time if needed.

Scales of Stone: Eons of slumber beneath the Arethil's surface has caused his scales to fuse with minerals, giving them a stony appearance and otherworldly durability. Most conventional weaponry cannot penetrate them.

Radiant Heat: While he always emits a significant amount of heat, Zull Du'un can focus the energy in his body to produce an aura of intense temperature in his immediate vicinity (~10 meters from the edge of his body). When active, this aura nullifies all but the most powerful water and ice-based attacks. Most organic life must retreat immediately or risk being consumed by the heat. This skill consumes an immense amount of energy and cannot be maintained for long periods of time.

Blood of the Earth: When his reserves are low Zull Du'un burrows beneath Arethil's crust. Surrounded by magma, he recharges his internal fuel reserves and fortifies his scales. The time required to recharge varies from hours to days to millenia, depending on the severity of his fatigue.

Scorch the Sky: Zull Du'un constantly sheds ash and stone from his body, which can darken skies as he flies (see appearance, above).

Weaknesses:

Lava Body: Zull Du'un draws his strength from the heat produced by his body. Anything that cools him rapidly is a threat, ex: water, ice, etc.

Internal Fuel: While his energy reserves are immense, they are not infinite. Should Zull Du'un draw too much power or go too long without hibernation, he risks quite literally burning out. Cold conditions increase the energy required to maintain his incredibly high body temperature, and thus put him at greater risk of burnout.

Arrogance: Zull Du'un firmly believes that dragons are divinely ordained to rule over the world and all those in it. He also believes that he is the most powerful being on the planet, and therefore best suited to take the title of ruler. He does not believe lesser beings are capable of defeating him, and thus gives them little to no thought.

Weight of Stone: Zull Du'un has gained godly strength and durability at the expense of speed. While he can soar great distances faster than most creatures, he is not agile, nor can he take to the air quickly.

Zull Du'un is arrogant, selfish, and above all believes dragons to be the pinnacle of creation. He finds no measure too extreme when securing his rightful place at the head of the world, and believes everything that is not a dragon only exists because dragons allow them too. For this, they should be grateful. While he does not outright claim leadership of dragon-kind, he does believe himself to be the most powerful.
