A shrub that prefers to grow in the drier portions of the Delta and especially favors areas with higher wind speed, so as to carry its seeds. Its feather shaped leaves are often utilized as an aromatic, bitter herb by locals and has even been known to sell quite nicely abroad among culinary enthusiasts.
