Zalandria Osuaneth
This young elf has a wild spirit and a thirst for knowledge. She was raised with comfort and finery, spoiled by her father if you ask her older sisters. Not that they hadn't heard the same things about themselves, coming from the very prosperous Osuaneth family of Fal'Addas.
Appearance
Slender, feminine, and very very short. Zalandria, like many of the women in her family, never quite hit the growth spurt to become the epitome of tallness that her kind are supposed to be. Alabaster skin and white hair are also the norm for her family, both in men and women. Her skin is actually darker than her mother's, who might be the pallest elf anyone has ever seen. She's the only girl in her family with dark eyes though. Most of her kin have blue, green, grey, or violet eyes.
Skills and Abilities
For decades, Zalandria has been studying beneath some of the wisest elves that have ever walked upon Arethil. Her family easily possessed the wealth and standing to secure her a dormitory of her own within Fal'Addareth when she was only 19. There she has been exploring many subjects, but most especially History, Astronomy, Herbalism, and Language. She has mastered the Elvish language and studied it's most acclaimed poets. She speaks Common, and Dwarvish fluently And she has a passing knowledge of the Abtati, Antikathari, Drow, Lanshitanian, and Sharathi tongues. And she has begun to grasp the rudiments if Orcish.
She is very good with a bow, having foound archery a meditative discipline to practice. She is also skilled at bargaining and the art of persuasion, having been raised by the owners of several of the most prominent shops in Fal'Addas.

Personality
Zalandria is fanciful, spiritual, artistic. She is absolutely fascinated by stories, lore, and history. But she is incredibly prone to daydreaming. That's probably a part of why she studies the stars and constellations. It's something that actually requires her to look up at the stars and be in awe of the unfathomable glory of Nature's harmony.
Biography & Lore
Once upon a time, a wealthy elven trader and his kind if a bit mischievous wife wished to have a son. But they conceived a daughter instead. And so they taught her the merchant's trade and grew more affluent over time and tried again for a son. But once more they had another daughter instead. This child was unruly and ran off early in her life to adventure with humans and dwarves and orcs and komodi.
She returned about a century later with a half human child and a calmer heart. And when she returned she found not only her elder sister but two younger ones as well, one a daring rebel who spoke of learning magic and gaining power, and the youngest a prim and proper lady, with a naughtiness that bordered on the amusing.
It was about a century and a half later, when the couple would finally try again for a male child. In truth it had become something of a lover's game. They had found that they were quite fulfilled having daughters. Nor would either the husband or his wife seek to impose their will so harshly upon the grand designs of Nature itself, as to seek out any kind of conception altering magics. And that was when Zalandria was born. The fifth daughter of the Osuaneth family.
As she grew up she developed a love of exploring nature and hunting, and was given the prized bow of her great grandfather, whose name is inscribed upon Fal'Tiereth. She also discovered a love of learning and sought out new and interesting stories at every opportunity. Her third great love... Well, perhaps that's a story best suited for another time...
