Yvoire LaRoe
On the smaller side of the Duannan race, Yvoire still can wither anyone with narrowing her bright eyes. Preened to perfection, she has spent all her years to tailor herself to be pleasing to the eye, to draw others into a false sense of security. Every thing about her has been sharpened into a weapon. One cannot be blamed for thinking her magical affinity was like that of a siren, but as a born LaRoe, she has inherited the bloodline magic.Born as a Princess, the late king being her father's brother, she was taken in by the King to be raised alongside his daughter and heir, Gwynevere and was trained in everything Gwyn was. After her father had died silencing the largest rebel attack in the century, Yvoire looked to the late king for guidance. He ensured she got the best tutors, and helped steer her future career to be a valuable member of the Day Court.
Duannan Affinity
- Architect
A LaRoe affinity, allowing her to weave illusions with great strength. She is a pillar to the faction that tends to the illusions of the Day Court.
- Silver-tongued
With practice over the centuries, she has honed the ability to tailor her voice to be pleasing to the ears, especially to the fae. It allows her to disarm many easily if susceptible to her honeyed cadence.
- Devourer
A rare affinity for feeding on the magical abilities of others. It is the art of taking the entire magical source of a being, fae or human, and with slaves being a large trade in the Day Court, it has given Yvoire the chance to feed on any magical ability caught in the dungeons. This power is not kept for herself, rather fed to her cousin and Queen, Gwynevere. This affinity was trained and honed under the late King's insistence, knowing that with the two LaRoe Princesses would grow to make the Day Court even more powerful after his death.
