Ysira Anireth
Summary of Common Knowledge
Fame: Nigh-Legendary
Ysira the Great, King of Cintria, Duke of Loraine & Tyr, Count of Vintou, Canius, Revere, Wolf of the Northern Sea, Slayer of Eighty Men, The Rising Sun, and The King of Many Titles.
Legendary Sovereign of the Northern Realms, Ysira is a youthful, idolized man with few considered equals. Renowned for uniting the Kingdom of Cintria, helping to establish its Cognatic Elective Monarchy and defend against it in six wars that threatened not only the peace of Cintria, but the stability of all the dukes. Crushing peasant revolts, driving back the nations of Ria and Teryn in a singular war, and even going as far to slay a dragon in single combat; Ysira is by all counts of a man of legend, who has done all in his great power to create a nation heavily reliant on his leadership, though more as a figurehead than any steward ability.
Although heavily educated, Ysira and Cintria as a whole are far more dependent on the Elector Council than he would give off. While Ysira is a warrior with almost no equal, and a General of excessive results, he lacks in all matters of Court life besides intimidating and occasional flattery. Some even consider this the exact reason he remains yet unwed, though others claim it because the Council has not asked him to do so yet. The truth of the matter is yet unknown to the masses at large, but what is known as he is one of the most eligible bachelors in Liadain.
It is understood that while Ysira is an extremely accomplished man in all martial matters, he does not always lack the foresight to see when matters outside of direct battle may yet win the day with better results. With looming political pressure from the political marriage in the southern nations of Ria and Teryn, Ysira has begun to put his own pressure on the City-State of Elbion, hoping to take its trade for his own, and utilize its grand expanse of mages to fortify his armies in the same way his dynasty has done in Vel Anir, although that is nigh the only redeeming quality of his kinsmen in the south in his eyes.

Appearance
Golden locks, an angular attractive face, and piercing emerald eyes; Ysira is the picture of youth and aspiring fidelity. Both men and women flock to his nigh perfect nature, some even convinced it is of magical origin; yet none so directly have proof, nor the gall to say such a thing to his majesty's face. In essence, he is the embodiment of a god, and some have even gone as far to see him as such, without any actual church backing this idealized claim.
In terms of a warrior, he holds no scars to betray his looks; never bested in combat to have received one. Instead, Ysira stands six and a half feet tall, with two hundred and sixty pounds to his form without armor. His shoulders are broad, his hips narrow, and all of him rectified to impose and belittle anyone who dare challenge him. It is in this, that even a cold or apathetic gaze from the King of Cintria can send chills down ones spine, and offer them little more than regretful reverie as they reconsider their actions.
Generally, the King adorns himself in golden armor, with ebony plates to accent the former. Emblazoned near everywhere is his personal crest, that of Cintria itself, and one he created for his own banner; the flaming sigil of a Golden Sun. It is these symbols that help establish the myth that is Ysira, and embolden the claims of his godhood despite his own lack of claims to such; yet when faced on the battlefield, any opposing witness how brutal he stands as a symbol of faith and moral for his troops and country.
Skills and Abilities
Unlike many legends of the modern era, Ysira holds no domain over magic, nor does he have the ability to regenerate at a speed that surpasses a troll. Nor can the King of Cintria summon demons, or bind mortal men to his will with but a flick of his hand; yet despite all of these seeming failures, he stands a head above the many of the world today. Ysira knows not magic and its ilk, but knows of tactics, charisma, and exceptional martial prowess in all aspects physical.
The man is a tank, with a seemingly endless reserve of stamina, endurance, and adrenaline. He has yet to face an equal in combat that was able to strike a scar to his exposed flesh, never leaving a mark on his person to date. Even the dragon he slew, named 'Taroki'ontini', left naught but a destroyed set of armor in its wake; leading some to believe the King of Cintria immortal, though he is certainly not. In this, he holds a mythical status that serves to help demoralize his opponents, striking fear into them with presence alone, but should never be assumed that he relies entirely on intimidation.
Trained in well over fourty sword techniques, and a master of most melee weapons; The King of Cintria looks to polearms and spears as his primary weapon, but carries a sword fitting of his size as a backup at all times. Known for his mount, 'Gideon', Ysira uses stallions and calvary in both personal combat and army engagements very heavily, favoring their like in conjunction with heavy infantry to hold back the tide of enemy forces, leaving them exposed to hammer and anvil tactics.
Despite this, Ysira lacks the refinement for more courtly manners. Intrigue, stewardship, outright learning; all matters past him. The king knows how to read, but his interest in such stems strictly to legends, chasing myths and seeking to build on the mistakes of Generals in the past. While an icon of personality, he simply focuses himself entirely in the world of conflict, and leaves all matters of the realm to his Council of Peers; the Elector Dukes of Cintria.

Personality
Magnanimous.
So idolized his very nature breeds sycophancy around him in all aspects. His council is loyal to a point, his very nature so aggrandized he sees no others as equals in direct terms; and full of himself in all aspects. The King of Cintria is a kind, beautiful man; but he is one who knows equal amounts of cruelty and pragmatic dedication. He stands more a celebrity than a man now, however, and much of it has gone to his head.
While loyal and obsequious towards his friends and confidants, the man sees outside forces, as realms and peasantry, all as obstacles to be overcome. His very nature is to seek conflict in all things; though outwards seems to be this goal in its entirety. Conquer a realm, settle a people; he seeks immortalization through history itself, and he nearly there. In this sense, he is a glory driven dog, hell bent on making himself the primary benefactor of so many people of the world.
However, past the courts, many find him enjoyable, if not stuck up. The man seems to know his worth, buys into his own legends and myths, and spews them out in equal parts. However, he is kind, known for his charitable nature and generally just disposition. The man lacks of a very large sense of humor, being very grounded in terms of conversational pieces of imagination, yet he stands few equal in sheer presence in any conversation.
Negatively, the King is a realist in many sense. With the guidance of his council, he has taken over lands only to dispose the local peasantry, enslave them, and then colonize the same land and infastructure with more loyal subjects. Cruel in a nature, Ysira knows these things to be the quickest, fastest way to realize a stable Kingdom; lest he face the wraith of many thousands of unruly nobles. With his Council's help however, he has slowly moved from the realm of outright conquest, and more into the intrigue of political manipulation; looking to exert this exact facet on the realm of Elbion.
