Yoru is a human who almost never smiles. It's not in his nature as the executioner of "boring people". He thinks most people are pretty cool for suffering through life like warriors, but unfortunately his boss...does not. Most of his humor is dry and deadpan if he ever tries to be human in the first place. He simply cannot allow himself to connect with others, or else Beliyal will get mad. Not much you can do against a god who can stop hearts with his tricks, and even more so when they have hold of your soul and thusly total control. After getting his revenge on the robbers who slew his parents, he quickly learned just how hollow the passion generated by rage is, and is now living a pointless existence.
