Winter was given her name not because of her short, flowing red hair, but by the date of her birth, the start of the winter solstice. She wears standard Ranger Trainee garb, with lightweight leather armor to support her smaller figure and her style of combat. Although her appearance could land her into a successful marriage with a high born noble, she decided to make her shot sharper than her looks.

Her small appearance makes her seem illsuited for combat, but her skills with a bow are undeniable. Her small frame allows her to move from vantage point to vantage point in expedient speed, and her refined shot always finds it's target.

Her bow of choice is a short bow, particularly the one she was given by her late father. However, she can learn to shoot any ranged weapon with great we skill than most. Her longbow and crossbow shots have also proven her to be quite the archer, some would argue even toward the same degree as an eleven archer.

The downfall of her speed and prowess, however, is her lack of physical strength. She is quite slow at swinging a sword, resorting to a small dagger as her secondary weapon, one she has very little training in using properly. While devoting so much to her craft with a bow, even her hand to hand combat lacks sufficiency among the rangers Standards, but she can hold her own when faced with an opponent with no training.

Fortunately, when in a close combat situation, she can resort to the last skill in her arsenal. She had a belt pouch occupied by three silver throwing knives, which she uses to get out of any situation which requires her to tactically retreat.

Winter is a impressive marksman, the best in her class, and she has no trouble flaunting that off to her fellow trainees. She is hotheaded enough to match her bright red hair, and her ego could match the height of a giant. She's a fast talker, with a tendency to ramble for a while on topics she's passionate about.

However, at the end of the day, she's also a compassionate and caring person, one that will defend her brethren with all that she has, and in battle, she turns off the ego and is willing to lay down her life for her compatriots and her cause.

Whenever she fails, she has a tendency to beat herself up about her mistakes, and train constantly till she corrects those mistakes. On these periods of time, her compatriots note that her ego completely dissipates and doesn't come back until she feels she's corrected her errors.
