"Quick on his feet and sharp as a tack, that boy. But he's hotheaded. Do gooder. Wants to help everyone he can. Doesn't realize that not everyone wants to be helped or that not everyone is worth helping. He'll realize that soon enough."

Appearance

Tall, fair haired and lean of muscle, Wilhelm is a good soldier. Able to march and run for great distances without tiring. While not the most physically strong of combatants and lacking in pure power, Wilhelm makes up for it with his wiry physique that helps him stay faster than his opponents, preferring to out-maneuver them, rather than best them through strength.

Skills and Abilities

Wilhelm is a martial man first and foremost, and trained for many years to be an effective combatant as a City Watchmen, and then later as a prospective member of the Knighthood. He is alert and sharp, but can be impatient or brazen even in times of combat. With training this has subsided, but his stubbornness and brash nature can still come out to his detriment in combat.

Wilhelm is observant and reads people well, especially those doing wrong-doing. He is especially good at spotting lies or deceit. While not gifted in interrogation, he can supposedly "smell a lie".

Wilhelm is gifted with the sword, being fast on his feet has helped him use the blade to great advantage. He also uses his speed as a deterrent, preferring to end fights as a Watchmen before they began.

Wilhelm is a naturally gifted runner.

Wilhelm is also known as a great cook, and takes great pride in the foods he prepares and is also picky about his food when he prepares it.

Personality

Kind hearted and inquisitive, but with an utmost respect for law and fairness, Wilhelm displays kindheartedness to a fault at times. He shows sympathy to all, even in times where it may not warrant it. This has come back to haunt him in some cases, but he always believes in giving people a second, or even third chance.

He is brazen and brash as well, a confrontational person by default. He rarely shies from an argument or debate, or refuses to comment on something he sees amiss when it arises. This can range from someone not doing the dishes or sweeping, or belittling a comrade in public.

Biography & Lore

Born to lower-class parents working through hard labor jobs, Wilhelm's parents sought for him a better life, and pushed him towards military service. Throughout his life, he trained from a young age to become just that.

Originally a member of the City Watch, Wilhelm distinguished himself through the city watch by foiling a would-be pirate raid on a great many number of merchant ships nearly single handedly, and destroying one of the pirate ships in the process, even at such a young age.

Wilhelm felt the urgent call to do more growing within him, and the relative safety of the city, compounded with the growing feuds of the world that brought in more desperate people, he sought to better himself, through reading, training, meditation, and seeking spiritual guidance, eventually reaching the conclusion that he was destined, or felt that he should do more.

Ultimately, he came upon an organization with a great history- the Knights of Anatheum, outside of the city walls. Far outside the city walls, in fact.

Wilhelm undertook a great journey beyond the safety of the only home he knew, and came to the monastery and temple to begin his path to Knighthood, and after many months of training and teaching, earned the moniker of Squire. He is eager to prove himself, and to do more with his life than he felt he was doing prior to.
