Virdalia grew up an outsider in her own home. Born to an elven mother and human father she struggled to fit in with her peers in Vel Anir. On the nights she struggled the most, her mother would calmly recall tales of her elvish homeland and speak their native tongue. Her mother had met her father on a trading expedition passing through the immense city, she had only planned on trading and leaving until she met Mr. Deuxstrom. Her mother had left everything behind to immigrate to this vast city, being among some of the only non-humans residing in its walls.

The move had not come without challenges, for Virdalia and her mother, life was not easy. Though outward hostility was rare, they were always othered by the citizens. Isolated in one of the most populated cities on the globe. However, they couldn't afford to leave because of Mr. Deuxstrom's job as a civil engineer for the city. His work there was crucial and he stood as an apex figure among his colleagues.

From their union, Virdalia was born a hybrid half-elf. She had her mother's elegance and unearthly air while inheriting her father's logic and temper. At times in Vel Anir she felt so lonely and helpless, the only company she had was her drive and ambition. So, she worked extremely hard to learn magic from her mother and engineering from her father to get into Elbion College. Virdalia is sweet and endearing but can struggle with emotional regulation. She hopes to be a bastion for the lonely and abandoned, and often has a soft spot for the disenfranchised. She also loves challenge and problem-solving, utilizing her logic and magic in a skillful weave to ensure the best and most efficient results.

Virdalia has slightly pointed ears that are almost always covered by her long, wavy blonde hair. Even working in the hottest conditions, it has been a long engrained habit to have her ears covered to avoid detection. However, since moving to Elbion, she has noticed she enjoys putting her hair back every now and again gaining much needed confidence from the representation she now sees.

She isn't much in terms of height, settling at an average 5'4 with a slightly curvy build. Her eyes are a pale grey that seems to always be shining with mischief or kindness. However, upset her, and you will see them shift to a tempest of rage. On her belt she usually carries a ruler, a pencil, and an assortment of tools for her various projects.
