Vairos
A skall warrior-mage in service to the priesthood of Maelzafan, Vairos lives by a simple creed defined by two phrases:
"My life in service," and "I serve only the strong."
Appearance
Vairos bears a mane of long, white hair and has warm, dark gray skin that is just bordering on brown. He is muscular and well built. Vairos stands tall among drow males, likely owing to his hybrid nature as a skall. While he appears much as drow do, a number of features set him apart from his pure drow cousins, namely the black sclera of his eyes, the wreath of violet umbral energy which cloaks much of his body, the veins of that same energy that run through portions of his skin, and the prominent, antler-like, violet horns that crest his head. His facial features are sharp and angular.
Skills and Abilities
As a thrall, Vairos was cultivated for one purpose only: combat. He's been trained in the use of elegant blades like many drow warriors are, but has a particular fondness for polearms and javelins.
Owing to his nature as a being partially of the evergloam, Vairos' body is both a host to and conduit for primordial shadow magic. Vairos can manifest this natural magic by manifesting weapons from his own body and creating destructive blasts of umbral energy.

Personality
Most would describe Vairos as "unpleasant." He is generally taciturn and curt at best, and outright dismissive and rude at worst. Vairos has a strict belief that might makes right. He looks down upon those he deems as weak and respects those he sees as strong.
Vairos believes that he is nothing more than a vessel for the will of others and feels great pride in carrying out the will of those who have earned the ability to control him, but has a narrow view of whom he deems "worthy" of having their will carried out.
In truth, Vairos revels in challenge and has something of a thirst for conflict, but doesn't like to admit that this implies he is no mere empty vessel.

Biography & Lore
For now, little is known about Vairos. Skall are not terribly uncommon in Zar'Ahal, especially in service to the priesthood, but Vairos began making waves as Hebemarri's "chained beast" only recently. No one, perhaps even Vairos himself, seems to know if he is either a natural-born skall or if he was Mantled by the priesthood.
