Physical Description

Average height and build for an Elf of the woodland clans within the Falwood, Vaenan also bears the ritual tattoos upon his face that marks him as a member of the druids of said clans.

Biography

Vaenan is an orphan, found in the deep woodlands of the Falwood by the clans of Elves that dwell there. Ultimately beholden to Fal'Addas, they largely govern themselves, each Clan a law unto themselves. Vaenan was brought up in this environment, constantly on the move as his clan followed routes through the length and breadth of the Falwood.

Early on, Vaenan showed promise as a priest of nature, naturally communing with the plants and animals of the forest as they moved along their yearly routes. The elders of his clan drew upon this natural tendency and began to teach him how to harness these abilities to assist in maintaining the harmony of nature within the Falwood, which had long been the responsibility of the woodland clans.

Now, on a journey to view the world and learn new things, Vaenan seeks adventure.

Personality Traits

  • Inquisitive- Vaenan grew up in an open society, always having his questions answered and encouraged. This has led to him becoming a very inquisitive adult.
  • Wild Elf - Growing up in the wilder clans of the Falwood glades, Vaenan understands nature far more than civilization.

  • Nature Magic - Vaenan is versed in the divine magic derived from the elements and nature.
  • Sword Elf - Vaenan was trained to defend himself with the blade in the Elven tradition.

Magic

~Blessings~

  • Nature's Bounty - This spell bestows a minor blessing on the recipient that can boost a single physical attribute, such as making a person faster, stronger, hardier, etc.
  • Healing - This spell draws on the world around the caster, or on the caster's energy, and uses it to aid the bodies natural healing ability. This can significantly decrease the amount of healing time depending on how much energy the caster puts into the spell.
  • Shield - One of the earliest spells taught to mages/clerics/druids, the caster uses their magic to shield themselves from harm. Simplest is a magical shield against magical attacks, and the more physical an attack is, the harder it is to defend with this shield.

~Conjurations~

  • Nature's Spirit - This spell draws on the local spirits of nature to allow the caster to commune with. This communion is generally short lived, though the caster can attempt to increase the communion time during the communion. It is ultimately up to the spirit drawn into the communion.

~Evocations~

  • Force of Nature - This spell can evoke minor effects of nature, such as creating a small area of blizzard/heatwave/torrential downpour and similar event.
  • Overgrowth - This spell can cause plants within the area to grow at a faster rate than normal, and partially under the control of the caster.
