Vaalkar Tol-Lithum
Born amongst the thick smog of the Taagi Baara Steppes in western Espressa to the reborn Kuulvar Clan. Through the turmoil of internal bloodshed and fighting, it had finally been decided that the newborn of the new Chieftan would finally put an end to the warfare that had been raging on. Despite this, tradition was dying in the Kuulvar Clan and there were not enough elders to instill the same values in the younglings as there might have been decades past. Change was coming, and the newborn, Vaalkar Tol-Lithum was prophesied to man the helm of it all. Though, with this added weight, Vaalkar’s upbringing was hard fought with few friends and good-times in between. His father, the then-chieftain had become obsessed with this prophecy in means of it saving his clan, and with that his family. Isolation and training became all that Vaalkar knew, surrounded by elders that disciplined him in honor and history. It wasn’t until Vaalkar’s conscription into military service for his clan that he met others outside of training or family. This ‘change’ that was illustrated in the young man's youth was spurring in every suit of armor, or behind every tusk that served under his father. The rhetoric of tradition, fighting over the same land that Orc’s had fought over for years became a monotonous grind that led morale thin. Inevitably, after years, and aquiring a few wives wives and siring children of his own Vaalkar took the throne from his father, commending him to the afterlife in battle and demanded that the Orc people and their lands would expand, and their word would spread on an equal playing field as every other race in Arethil.
Appearance
Vaalkar makes an impression into any room he walks into with his long braided tufts of raven black hair, pronounced Orc features that extend the full length of his six-foot-seven body. His musculature is that of a defined warrior trained and hardened over years of service to not only his people but himself. The Warlord’s tattoos pierce their image into many minds of onlookers in Vaalkar’s frequent escapades into the cities around Arethil. They are the bright blue geometric markings many of his followers and warriors take after, delicately etched across his chest and abdomen, as well as his back. Decorated in primarily iron, gold, feathers, and leather it is easy to tell Vaalkar apart from any Orc as he seems to be more decorated for the likes of politicians than any other of his kind.
Skills and Abilities
Trained in martial ability Vaalkar makes the likes of a decent general, but more adept to field-commander-like roles. His guttural, baritone voice is surprisingly fluid in common and has adapted quick to the likes of humans and elves, while he remains blunt and outwardly opinion driven he is able to debate amongst some of the silver-tongued peerage. Though, Vaalkar was bred and built for battle like many Orcs, his body and weight define him as a living war-machine. Able to extend himself beyond many capabilities of other races' strength and ferocity. Mainly, Vaalkar deals in unarmed combat, but at the most he shed’s a short-spear with him that he has been trained in since his adolescence.
