Tytus Amladeris
Thagretis Military
“As I give this blood to Thee, please grant me the strength to slay Thine enemies.”
- Tytus, as he casts a spell
Tytus Amladeris is a Thagretis mage. He is the second son of the lord of House Amladeris. He practices the Divine Magic of Thagretis in the defense and safety of the city as a military officer.
Biography
Born the second son of Lord Amladeris, Tytus’s education and upbringing differed significantly from his older brother. As with other noble sons not expected to inherit, Tytus’s education focused more on combat and religion. A life’s service to the city’s military or clergy was expected as Tytus would not have lands to manage or protect.
Expectations for Tytus were high, though, as he displayed some traits of the legendary dragon bloodline. He displayed a talent both for magic and theology, and thus received extensive training in Thagretis’s Divine Magic.
Upon coming of age, Tytus decided to join the military instead of donning a robe. He received and officer’s education and joined a squadron assigned to the southern desert. Tytus made a name for himself in combat against hostile Lizardfolk that live the desert.

Personality and traits
Tytus is a religious zealot. He is a firm believer that those that do not believe in the teachings of the Draconic Order are inhuman. Due to Thagretis’s isolation though, Tytus’s examples of heretics amounted to just criminals or Lizardfolk, which cannot feel emotions anyway.
As a member of the military, Tytus is quick to follow orders given by his superiors and expects obedience from the soldiers below. He has displayed an unyielding faith in the city’s order.
Lastly, Tytus is a dedicated member of House Amladeris. After he first praises the All Mighty Dragon and Archprophet, he gives honor to his family. While his relationship with his older brother is strained due to the always present inheritance concerns, Tytus has remained close with his younger siblings.

Powers and abilities
Tytus has received extensive education on Thagretis’s Divine Magic. In the city, magic that does not originate from Divine Magic in the faith of the Holy Elder Dragon is forbidden.
The magic requires extensive use of incantations and somatic gestures. Tytus has always been taught and believes that faith in the Holy Elder Dragon is also tied with successfully using Divine Magic. The type of magic that Tytus utilizes most could be described as Evocation on Liadain and Epressa in order to create fire.
Combining the somatic gestures with fighting, Tytus has developed an efficient means to weave his magic with martial combat. If he is to fight in close quarters, Tytus uses a short sword to decent effect.
When necessary, Tytus has used blood magic to augment his magical power. Unlike the cities on Liadain and Epressa, blood magic is not illegal so long as the source is from one’s own body or a willing participant. Since their blood is, according to their religion, a gift from their Dragon-God, they see the use of it the same as using their god’s boon.
So far, Tytus’s combat abilities has only been displayed in spars or against Lizardfolk packs.
