Treek
Treek was born within the islands of the distant Black Bay.
Though transplants from further away, Treek's clan has made their home within the Kikiri mountains form as long as anyone can remember. Not exactly sea faring, the Kobolds of Kikiri have burrowed their way deep into the mountains of the islands.
It is here that they make their home in massive expansive tunnel cities.
Mostly left unbothered by the Pirates of Cerak'At'Thul, and independent in their own sort of way. The Clans of Kikiri exist almost wholly independently, with few of them ever venturing off their islands much less above the surface. The Clans grow their own food, create their own weapons, and conduct themselves with a strange amount of pride compared to other Kobolds in Arethil.
Though they are rarely bothered, in the instances where they have been the Kobolds have shown a remarkable strength in fighting for their lives. Using the mountains as massive fortresses, they bait their usually much stronger foes into venturing into places they should not.
This fiercely independent group of Kobold's is where Treek comes from.
Though far more adventurous and outgoing than many of his thirty seven brothers and sisters, Treek nevertheless holds many tenants of his clans to his heart.
He is an incredibly clever and cut-throat character. Always pushing his own wants and needs, while at the same time ensuring the uplift of those around him...provided doing so meets his own needs. Having first left the island at the age of fourteen, a young adult by Kobold standards, Treek has lived a practical lifetime of adventure.
First he became a sailor, then smuggler, then a pirate, and finally an arms dealer.
Through his travels of the world he made many friends, and his unassuming and squat nature as a Kobold labeling him as less of a threat than much of his competition. This of course is utterly deceptive, and Treek has over the years done business in nearly every major city.
