Ti'Jan is a quintessential young prince. He is handsome, willful, wry, and has absolutely no interest in governance of any kind. He would much rather seek excitement in the lower districts or in the open ocean beyond the city. Being sheltered by his position for most of his life, and facing very few consequences for his actions, has made him impulsive and headstrong. He has spent enough time "out of bounds" that he can keep his wits about him in more nefarious situations, but still relies heavily on his mother's influence to get him out of trouble.

Ti'Jan is, by kivren standards, quite handsome. He has a shock of silver hair that flows through the currents, dazzling two-colored eyes, and smooth violet-blue scales. His ears are pointed and frilled, and in his aquatic form he bears a shark-like tail. He is lean and well muscled, and otherwise built for swimming at great speed through strong currents.

Amphibious: Like all Kivren Ti'Jan can transition from a fully aquatic to a terrestrial form, morphing his tail and fins into a pair of legs. He can spend a good deal of time out of water, but he does not retain moisture as well as true land-based species and must return to water (ideally the sea) within a matter of days or risk serious dehydration.

Touched by Kiva: Ti'Jan's royal bloodline hosts some very powerful sea mages. He is skilled in manipulating water and has limited communication skills with sea creatures.

Bioluminescence: Small spots of glowing green light are distributed across Ti'Jan's body. He holds some control over when they are lit, but they are also tied to emotion and will glow brightly if he is very happy, angry, or surprised.

Ti'Jan has lived a life of privilege and found from an early age that the palace was dreadfully boring. Since childhood he has been sneaking out and exploring the city and the sea, venturing further as he grew older. He has no true desire to rule and seeks excitement and holds a desire to prove himself to his family and his future subjects (always being somewhat of a disappointment to his family for his lack of enthusiasm about his birthright).
