Thror Firemane
Some dwarves were not meant for the deep mines. Thror, in his youth, spent every spare moment outdoors under the endless skies on top of the spine, especially at night beneath the mount cold bright stars, where his keen vision made him a great hunter. Thror showed little interest in his clan's traditions of mining and smithing, though he still inherited the clan's natural skills of tinkering and construct his own heavy crossbow, Heartstriker, highly accurate weapon that very few others are able to wind. Avoiding the company of his fellows, few things made Thror happier than sitting in a tree stand near Crobbear lake with Heartstriker, was listening to the wind through the forest leaves and waiting for deer or any larger prey to wander by.

Skills and Abilities
Combat: Thror prefers using his crossbow over his battleaxe, reaching out at range from the shadows with his beloved Heartstriker. If the situation turns to melee, he is no slouch in close quarter combat, swinging his axes as well as any other dwarven warrior. His hatred for orcs and goblins often motivates him to target the greenskins to the exclusion of others, and to choose them as his quarry.
Survival: Thror is a dwarven ranger and huntsmen of the spine, well versed in mountaineering, cold weather and forest survival. When it comes to survival and bushcraft, there are few that can match his ability. Naturually, being a belgrathian, he is also well versed in dungioneering to know how to survive and navigate the world below ground.
Social: The isolation and solitude nature of being a ranger has handicapped Thror's people skills. He comes off as taciturn, gruff and rudely blunt.

Personality
Character Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Thror is seen as a violent, aggressive and brutal dwarf, with a fatalistic view of the world. A lone wolf. He is a formidable warrior and believing when push comes to shove, killing is as natural as breathing for all sentients of Arethil. He disdains those, especially soldiers alike, that try and convince themselves otherwise. Underneath the gruff exterior there are signs that Thror can be a affectionate and compassionate being with his own strict sense of honour and duty.
