Sir Theolonious Montbank
Aloof, gloomy and frequently insubordinate in favour of his own wanderlust and pursuit of engagements, self assured in his approach and calm in the face of death, Sir Montbank is a cursed figure who no longer cares for a cure. He is someone who is happy to trade time in punishment for his literal flights of fancy and sees his time serving his contrition as a cost he is always willing to pay for taking the initiative to fly with purpose. Cursed to resemble a humanoid snow owl for his indiscriminate hunting in sacred woods, Theolonious has accepted his fate, both in his condition and the punishment he often faces for pursuing independence. He bears such fates without ill temper. Carefully balancing punishments from his order for being so self determined and serving the causes of his friends in their missions, ultimately, Sir Montbank is loyal to the cause of the Knights of Anathaeum, even if it can be difficult to appreciate at first.
A winged scout, messenger, guard, medic and cunning warrior of the skies, Montbank is silent in his approach, employing all techniques winged combat provides him to bring down his opponents. Montbank prefers to use guile to bring down his foes, but if pressed into a combat on the ground is still capable of dealing with duels with aplomb.
Appearance
Carrying a longsword and armoured in plate enchanted to be lighter to allow flight, Montbank resembles a snow owl in appearance. He wears a white tabard about his waist.
Skills and Abilities
Skilled with the longsword, and possessing the ability to fly silently through the skies above, he combines what he has known as a hunter of game to terrorize his opponents, swooping in with taloned claw to pick up opponents and throw them around the battlefield. An immense strength powers his wings, and can carry him great distances with silent speed that is unnerving in combat.
He is also a trained healer, being able to stem bleeding, and stave off death through limited magic. He is more akin to a paramedic, being able to stabilize individuals on the battlefield, before carrying them to safety.
In more desperate engagements, Montbank has employed magic infused bombardment and blast through virtue of prepared ingredients. A bolt of lightning from eel head consumed, flashing stones to dazzle and confuse, entangling vine and other inventions of necessity. Such actions require magical components to be prepared and brought to the field.

Personality
A jovial and care free gambler in his human years, the curse that affects him has also shaped his mind, becoming more appreciative of silence, and more humble to his place in the world. He accepts almost any mishap that happens to him now as a part of his lot in life, including ramifications of his own impetuous need to fly and accept self authored missions for his comrades. He often asks after other knights on missions, seeking permission to check on his comrades when communication breaks down or too much time has passed, or chooses to accompany his fellow knights without them knowing from the skies.
He is often dour in his responses, yet ultimately, he cares for his fellow knights. In a moment of crisis his demeanor does not change even in spite of overwhelming odds, remaining cool, calm and professional. A maverick, yet a welcome one, Montbank does not care for glory, he cares for getting the job done, seeing his fellow knights return home, and bringing the fight to the enemy when no-one else can.
