Talia grew up in a small, unknown fishing village located in the Spear. As her mother had passed away when she was small, she had a strong relationship with her father who was a fisherman. As a coastal village, fishing and sailing were the main trades of the residents. From a very young age, Talia developed a love for the ocean and fishing alongside her father.
As she grew into a teenager, she had become an avid sailor, often venturing out to sea on her own and seeking out new small islands to chart on her map. Nevertheless, she still accompanied her father on his most adventurous fishing expeditions. One day his ventures took him and Talia towards
Kiva. It was there that they all came under attack from Kivren, being lured into a trap. His ship was led into sharp rocks, immediately sinking it as the Kivren violently attacked the crew. Talia watched the chaos and deaths of those she knew, her tiny frame missed by the Kivren. She found herself on a piece of driftwood, floating in the sea for days by herself and under the weight of everything that had happened.
It was then that she was rescued by the most unlikely types of people - pirates. It didn't take long for Talia to trust them and decide this was the life she wanted. She never forgot what happened at Kiva, and a deep hatred for the fish people fostered in her heart. From that point on, she worked to gain her own crew and venture out to kill as many Kivren as she could. She began to wage a war against them, and she fully embraced a life of crime outside of that. The pirate code of taking everything and giving nothing fueled her life choices, and it led to much more wealth and seeing the world more than she ever would have otherwise.
Talia left the small village of her birth far behind, never having looked back. Now, she ventures with her crew aboard the Salty Bitch, determined to plunder and loot when she wasn't busy waging war against Kivren.
