Tabitha had grown up as nobility, she was used to having most things handed to her. She learned from the best teachers, only because her twin brother was learning too. She had learned to read and write, learned history, and simple math. On top of that, she learned her tasks as a noble woman, and future wife of nobility.

Unfortunately for her, this would not get her very far in life. Her father had created rifts between him and other nobility, leading to land skirmishes. Over time, they lost everything. All they had was an empty place to call home. Then the cold came.

First her mother, and then her brother fell ill. Both rapidly decreasing in health before their untimely death. Her father, unable to handle it anymore, took his own life shortly after. So, Tabitha remained. She left home and made for the city to try her luck there.
