Syr Guernot
Here stands Syr Guernot the Seabearer, a mage-knight of Flame. Ask him why he isn't a water mage and you're likely to get second degree burns.
Appearance
Though unmistakably kivren - for its hard to think of something else that he could be - Syr Guernot in the flesh looks a bit different than the common imaginings of the fish folk. Stocky and broad, he walks quite confidently on two feet ( there is some webbing between the toes). He lacks scales, but has a fine head of fins, red tips flushing brightly against watery blue skin. Gills cut seamlessly across his cheekbones, and wide red eyes hide a double lid.
Stories say that kivren have an affinity for transformation, but if Guernot has another form aside from this countenance, he keeps it well to himself.

Skills and Abilities
Syr Guernot is a powerhouse of destructive magic, a subclass of knight called a spellslayer. He is a master of flame and sword, and can wield both with terrifying results. Those who wish him ill would call him a one trick pony, only capable of utilizing one pursuit of magic. He himself would be inclined to agree with such critics, and would point towards his partner, Syr Edlebert, if one wanted to see more tricks.
Personality
A cheerful man, but he can be callous sometimes. Syr Guernot lacks the usual knightly valor, instead his lackadaisical demeanor lends itself better to casual banter and lazy afternoons. Underneath that calming warmth lies a fiery heart, and he leads with his emotions, burning passion and anger with equal fervor.
Biography & Lore
Who can say for certain where the kivren comes from? Syr Guernot loves to spin tales about his origins, some days claiming that he's a prince under the waves, and other days citing a humble life upon the banks of a river, his family quiet fisherfolk. The truth is more complicated, a past that he does not like to revisit.
