STAVROS OF POLOXA
A sailor who led a rebellion against the captain, because of low wages and a doomed expedition. Turned the ship and its crew into a mercenary strikeforce. Otherwise known as 'pirates', but Stavros prefers 'privateer' or 'mercenary'.
Appearance
Stavros is a sailor through and through. Lean, agile, tall and burnished by the many months working beneath the sun on deck. Many scars adorn him- from the usual rope burn, the little scars accumulating from daily sailing, to multiple larger knife wounds healed rather well. He wears his hair long and wrapped in a sailor's knot to keep them away from his eyes during battle or sailing.
As a mercenary and privateer Stavros favors light armor that affords him flexibility and agility.

Personality
Loud, genial and arrogant. Stavros is a true son of Poloxa, an island-nation known for its large navies and larger personalities. You will not have a boring moment if Stavros aloud, since he considers himself a true storyteller and philosopher at once.
If he's actually any good of it is for yourself to judge.
Beneath the veneer of humor there is a harder core more suitable for a sea-mercenary and mariner. He is used to a hard life and while enjoying the perks of luxury, does not need much to be content for the moment. That does not prevent him from being greedy at the core of his heart however. There is always something pushing him on. To take more, to steal and raid and rob.
To him? If you can't protect it... it wasn't yours to begin with.
