Sky Elf Goggles
The Sky Elves (Avelion) take to flight wearing strange goggles. Often these are carved from a single piece of bone or wood. They are made for the individual to fit snuggly and prevent light entering around the edges.
One or more slits is carved into the front of the goggles. Some elves use a form of translucent silk to cover wider slits.
The goggles protect the wearer's eyes from the harsh winds and bright sun. They are almost necessary if a rohk flies above clean white clouds. Often they are carved into a shape that almost resembles a bird's mask.
