Sif is both a devoted priestess and wife to the Dark God, Fritjof. While it was common enough for the Dark Gods to take champions, one taking a mortal as his wife was quite unusual -- especially one considered to be Unworthy. Instead of the broad and powerful physique that is, expected of her kin, Sif is lithe and slender. It would be no stretch of the imagination to think the woman delicate.

• Shapeshifting; a gift from Fritjof allowing her to take the form of animals or even people
• Premonitions; through her connection with Fritjof, Sif experiences sporadic and chaotic glimpses of possible futures. Many of these visions involve potential conflicts or catastrophes.

Jaded and sarcastic, Sif does her best to care for those deemed Unworthy by her brutal society; but she holds the Proven in cold disdain. While she has a harsh exterior, the young priestess has a kind soul. Watching from the outskirt of society, she attempts to guide villagers and travelers to avoid the perils of the future. These efforts are often ignored or dismissed, resulting in unfortunate events varying from accidents to outright catastrophes. This, of course, has led to her being known as the Herald of Misforturne.

Wherever vassels of Fritjof go, bad luck soon follows.
