Shadya serves on the Salitran Council of Eleven as one of the Seven Savants. Unlike the majority of the savants, Shadya did not come from wealth or enterprise, but solely from influence. She gained notoriety as a voice of the people, speaking out for her fellows whenever the Council would enact injustices upon the citizenry. Her willingness to speak out has landed her in a cell many times, but her will is unbending. She gained particular popularity during the artificial famine and market collapse caused by the Sacking of Salitra and the blockades that preceded it. She is the only commoner to hold a seat on the council.

Quite beautiful, though perhaps an understated beauty. She dresses as is appropriate for her position, but cares little for such frivolities and far more for the good of the people.

Shadya is a splendid public speaker and diplomat. She lacks the mercantile nature of many of the other savants, however.

Devoted, dedicated, and passionate. Shadya has a deep love and care for the commonfolk of Salitra, and regularly speaks against the will of her peers on the Council if it is not in the best interest of Salitra's people.
