Neither is his true name.
He's primarly a teacher in the arts of incantation and calligraphic magery.

Severin Bellerose seems as a normal human, his hair is ginger and his eyes a deep orange. A subtle beard grows over his face and there is a light point to his ears. However this usually people write off on having some elven ancestry in his heritage.
However, his true form is that of a ginger four-tailed fox. But he can take a more in-between form where various amounts of tails and fox ears appear over his human shape.
He, however, is also able to shapeshift to other races, but his appearance will always have a semblance to his original form, whether is it the point to the ears or ginger hair and his slitted eyes.

Severin Bellerose is a talented magician, however, he rarely seems to use that talent, letting his most other magical skills rust in unusage.
At least he has a great interest in scroll magic, almost obsessively so.
He has another alter ego by the name of Azeri Fear, which he uses to not tarnish his career as a great scholar of magic whenever he goes out drinking.

Grumpy and drunk. Smokes a pipe. Overly bitter, usually jests people and tends to hate mages who use more primitive forms of magery.
He'd give the whole world for the last bottle of booze. Generally dismissive of people and their skills.
He writes books and likes to reads them. Most of his time when not out looking for booze is spent studying.
