Living with an instinct to protect the world, Zorrens are often seen as the elves' more violent canine cousins, fighting tooth and claw to further their code of Life Freedom and Unity.
Appearance
Appearing usually as fox tailed elves, their pointed ears often get them mistaken for the fair folk when they hide their tails, though a discerning eye will note that their ears are just a tad too small, their nails too long and sharp, and their smiles bare sharp canine fangs.
Habitat
Zorrens feel more at home in the wild woods of the world, but have been known to adapt to any environment, particularly those of an urban nature.
Traits
Similar to elves at a glance, most Zorren's boast a lithe form with a low ammount of fat on their bodies. However, unlike their elven counterparts, Zorren anatomy allows for a denser muscle mass, allowing for strength beyond what first impressions might lead one to believe. More noticeable different is their glowing golden eyes which often dim and brighten with their emotions, though they can be changed on command with practice.
Zorrens are also known to sport furred tails similar to canines such as wolves and foxes with the latter being more common.
The more useful parts of Zorren anatomy include vocal chords which are capable of loud howling communications over long distances, sharp claws for climbing trees in their forested homes, and an extra set of joints within their legs which allow for quick quadrupedal travel. A grinning Zorren will also show a pair of fangs which hint at their usual preference for meat.
Finally, a part of the Zorrens as integral as their claws and tails but never seen by the naked eye is their most basic instinct. Zorrens are born to protect others, acting as a guard dog for the world. War runs through their veins, and yet they never fight for blood without a cause. Valued for their innate moral compass, a Zorren can always be depended on to jump into the fray for those they call friend. To fight and break this instinct is to invite a fate worse than death... to be broken into feral insanity.

Lore
An ancient species who claim to be almost as old as Elves, Zorrens say they were born of a liaison between their primary god and a spirit of the shadows and the night. Made to protect the world from evil, Zorrens have upheld their sworn duty with few exceptions, taking part in whatever wars they could find to support a just cause.
