The living soul of man, once conscious of its power, cannot be quelled.

-Horace Mann

Appearance

Willow Farbranch has used soul magic to continue to appear younger than her 56 years. One can still her age in her eyes though- the older she has gotten and the more energy she has taken from other souls, the more color fades from her eyes.

Her cheekbones are sharp and her mouth seems to be constantly frowning. She pays quite a bit of attention to her appearance. She carries herself with a firm sort of elegance that intimidates all the witches in her clan.

Skills and Abilities

Soul-binding: She can bind souls to trees and other items such as other plants or even animals and rocks/crystals.

Soul Youth: She can take energy from trapped souls or souls that are still in living bodies and use it to make herself look younger and to give herself strength. She is one of the only witches that can do so to such a degree.

Personality

No witch has ever said it aloud, but many would agree that Willow would be the face of the witches should the three clans need one representative or one leader to rule them all. Lilith is too young, inexperienced and violent, and Morilla is too old, frail, and peaceful.

Williow is firm, elegant, powerful, confident, and cold as stone. Everyone in her clan looks up to her- she has earned their respect many times over. They believe she is sent by The High Mother to bring their clan and even the other clans back to glory once more.

Biography & Lore

Willow had a younger sister, who would later birth Briar, the current Heir Daughter of the Wood Clan. Willow's sister was much gentler than she, and there are rumors that Briar's mother fell in love, even though she returned after her time with Briar's father and never went back to him. She died giving birth to Briar, and the rumors faded away with her mother's soul.

Willow has always been ambitious, hungry for power and leadership. Her mother died performing an experimental ritual, and she had fought her challenger to be Lady Mother. (Her sister did not challenge for the throne, she did not want to be Lady Mother and was instead made Heir Daughter) She emerged victorious and has been Lady Mother since.
