Black Yazdegard
Yazdegard the Black, also known as Black Yazdegard is a self-styled holy man and preacher active in the Empire of Amol-Khalit. His teachings, while viewed by many as heretical, have amassed a cult following. His teachings largely revolve around the desert and the worship of its innate "spirit", which he claims predates the Annunaki.
Appearance
No one truly knows Yazdegard's age, but it is said he looks much older than he is. The harsh sands of the western Amol-Khalit have made his skin like tanned leather, while his great dark beard is turning a grey like rain clouds never seen in his lands. Yazdegard is not a tall man, but his lean physique and strong legs allude to decades of mysterious wanderings deep into the desert.
Skills and Abilities
Dark Wizard - Yazdegard is said to possess magical powers and is never seen without his black grimoire. Yet, he does publicly display acts of magic, preferring to conduct rituals in the secrecy and safety of the desert.
Knowledge of Eons Past - A large part of Yazdegard's appeal to the rural population of Amol-Khalit that have flocked to him is his wisdom. He is said to freely give great knowledge of magic and power to those who follow him, all while he condemns institutionalized magic for its limits.
Zephyr of the Sands - Like the wind that shifts the dunes, Yazdegard is a wanderer. He floats from town to town, disappearing into sandstorms and shadows alike. Thus, it has been difficult for his opposition to catch him.

Personality
Yazdegard is a mysterious fellow. His great charisma hides sinister deceptions. While his mouth spins tales of his past or delivers the gospel on theology and law, his eyes plot.
