Aya'no appears at first glance to be that of an average human woman with green eyes, off-color dreadlocks, and six black dots upon her forehead, covered in robes and other various gear that would hide her true nature. In truth she has snakes for hair, bark growing on her forearms, and the six dots upon her head are actually mushrooms, though one wouldn't assume that from a glance. She is a gorgon merged with a dead Overgrowth, cut off from the Mycolop and made possible through dark magic.

Her preferred outfit is that of a white adventurer's outfit with blacked leather, reminiscent of a cleric's outfit were they to go and fight monsters with a party. the outfit is long-sleeved, with the cloth thin enough to let in light, but not see-through enough that one can make out the green & brown underneath is her skin and not just a second layer of clothing. She has a second set of clothing that she wars when doing more unsavory jobs, usually a black to dark blue color to blend in with the night sky.

The snakes that act as her hair have taken on a dark, vine like texture, a mix of both her natures that change color throughout the seasons. On occasion she allow various plants and fungi to grow on her while traveling, as being able to grow your own reagents is useful on longer journeys or to sell for later.

Having worked in the shadier sides of the world, Aya'no is familiar with . Being a tainted mix of plant and gorgon she has the powers of both, though her capacity to use them is weaker then each by themselves. Her gaze has weakened so that she can only reliable paralyze people with it, her petrification only able to be brought out in times of great stress. While she can rapidly grow and manipulate plants, it is energy intensive for her to use the former. The only thing that seemed to have melded together was her blood, allowing her to use it as either a healing agent or a caustic acid. Her ability to use the most basic of shadow magic is a byproduct of using dark magic and not of her lineage, of which she rarely practices either after her near-miss with the hivemind fungi. Instead she relies on her alchemy as a form of magic, using her blood & plants to concoct various mixtures.

While she was able to stave off most of the Mycolop's influence, having used Dark Magic to prevent her complete turning she wasn't unscathed. It has left her both appreciative of the power she had gained, while still uncomfortable with her new looks as it could put her in more danger then needed.
