Aldric's beginnings started in a small humble, cottage that served as his family's home in the kingdom of Edenham. Despite being born into a lower-class family, that did not deter his ambitious spirit. As a young boy, he was captivated by tales of knights, and he longed for the chance to prove himself worthy. Determined to make his dreams a reality, he would spend hours practicing with a makeshift wooden sword and shield. Every night, as he lay on his scratchy straw mattress, he envisioned himself standing in the service of a noble family, adorned in shining armor and wielding a mighty sword. His heart greatly desired to become a squire, and to eventually serve a great knight and learn the ways of knighthood. At the age of seven, Aldric’s dreams began to take shape when he was sent to another household to begin his training. The family he now served was stern but fair, and they recognized potential within the young boy. They took him under their wing, teaching him the basics of combat, horsemanship, and etiquette. He embraced his lessons with sincerity, eager to prove himself worthy of the title of squire. At the age of fourteen fate intervened, as he received an invitation from Clan MacKraser, presenting an opportunity for him to serve under Tuncan MacKraser.
