He was born in Alliria he came from a strict family not nobles but there desires to become one was strong and thanks to that he was tought manners and noble traditios and especially after he was found to have a prodigy like talents for Enchanting his family became even more strict, every day he got worked to the bone and was forced to act almost perfectly, he was never allowed to play or go out as a child and rarely did he ever meet children his age as he was not to be influenced by "peasants" as his parents said they are barbaric and not cultured like nobles that they desired.

But one of the days Riglo decided to do something he was always afraid of doing, he snuck out, he did not want to be a slave to these so called parents and he did not want to be used as some sort of gateway to noblehood, as he travelled outside the town during the night he stumbled upon something he had never seen before, a dwarf hammering some sort of a sword on an anvil, intrigued by this Riglo hid and stared at the dwarf working becoming more and more amazed by how he made the sword and with such skill.

Few days had passed and Riglo snuck out every night to watch the dwarf work
, but one day the dwarf stopped hammering away and sighed and spoke up loud "Kid you have been watching me every night working away, come here and sit down" the dwarf said in a calm tone, scared and shocked that he got caught he lowered his head and he was simply 14 years old at the time and as he did so he walked out from his hiding spot and towards the dwarf.

The dwarf sighed again and spoke in almost fatherly tone "I wont hurt you i just want to talk kid" he patted Riglo on the head and gave a faint smile, suprised by this Riglo looked up at the dwarf and was confused "But mister i have been watching you every night if i did this around my family i would get scolded and belted by my father since i would not be studying magic" the dwarf shocked by how little this child hid away and spoke to him in full honesty showed this child had been shelterd all his life, the dwarf scratched his beard utterly lost on what he should do then he extended a hand to shake "My name is Grettur Longbeard, what is your name kid".

After that encounter Grettur let Riglo help him around on the forge and teaching him the basics of crafting, Riglo learned this at a suprising speed that it impressed Grettur even further and he saw how much enjoyment Riglo felt around the forge and while smithing, Grettur smiled happily and treated Riglo like his own son and Riglo finally had a father he loved and smiled truthfully around, but then something happend that ruined his happy times with Grettur Longbeard and he would never forget this day.
