Reynald
A squire who takes himself too seriously. Reynald was left at the Monastery as an infant, by a mother who was reluctant to share information about her circumstances other than that she could not care for him. Perhaps it had been a lean year with too many mouths to feed, or perhaps she had simply not been ready for the responsibility. Whatever the reason, Reynald grew up among the Knights of Anathaeum and has never known another home.
Though he has not yet made the rank of Knight Sworn, he has hope that he will soon be able to prove himself in the ceremony of the Twice-Lit-Flame and swear his oath. In the meantime, he applies himself wholeheartedly to his training, leaving little time for fun.
Appearance
Although he would never admit it, Reynald has a strong streak of vanity and as such takes great pains to look his best. His facial hair, with his carefully pointed moustache, is one obvious manifestation of this tendency, and the general fastidiousness of his dress and grooming another.
He is strong in body and limb from his training and stands up tall whenever possible, cutting a rather impressive figure both in and out of armour.
His eyes, though dark, have a lively spark to them which betrays the warmth beneath the stern front he tries to keep up.

Personality
Reynald takes himself, and everything he does, seriously. When his mind is fixed upon something he will work diligently until he has accomplished his goal or his desire is finally within his grasp. This driven nature has allowed him to excel as a squire, but has caused him to step on a few toes from time to time. Those who know him, but not well, would say that he is overly serious for a man his age and needs to lighten up.
However, those who know him better know that in the right circumstances he enjoys playing around and having fun. In fact, he's even got a mischievous streak that has occasionally landed him in hot water.
