Rayìld Darkweaver
Appearance
With light grey eyes, white hair, and ashen skin, there’s no mistaking the Kavosh blood that runs in Rayìld’s veins. He often wears long clothes with hoods to cover up as much of himself as possible not because he's ashamed of himself, but because he doesn't want any trouble from 'regulars'. He wears simple but practical clothes, comfortable yet durable. He owns very little, relying on his magic to provide for his wants and needs.
Skills and Abilities
Strengths:
Magic: Rayìld is a sorcerer just coming into his power; he doesn’t know his full capability, or even his full potential, just yet. He’s able to harness multiple types of magic, and doesn’t know how many different types of magic he can learn, if he even has a limit. Since he’s still learning, he’s not as fast with his magic as he’d like to be, and often becomes frustrated with him own limitations.
Weaknesses:
Physical: He is not very good with a blade, and his strengths lie in avoiding combat rather than winning it. He’s not very strong, though he is lean due to the strain of magic on his body. As a result, he eats enough for three people, and is almost always hungry.
Personality
An oddball, bookworm, and adventure-seeker, Rayìld is an odd mix – quiet yet intense, uninterested in most things with yet a laser focus on those topics that he is passionate about. He is fascinated by the supernatural, especially by the dark arts. He is laser-focused on learning more about magic, all forms of magic, and what they can do, which is likely to get him into trouble.
Being so focused, he often overlooks simpler or more enjoyable aspects of life in his pursuits, though he will cave under the right sort of peer pressure. Although not easily rattled, there are things that that get under his skin as he is often too hard on himself, having perfectionist expectations for himself and his work.
Despite his magical abilities, he has no desire for fame or power; he simply has an insatiable need to learn and know. He's conducted more than one...questionable...experiment in his pursuit of knowledge.
Biography & Lore
Rayìld was born of a Kavoshian mother and a human father. His upbringing was difficult, as it is for most half-Kavosh. Other children were often afraid of him, and their parents cruel to him, so he took solace in his magic, creating or summoning magical creatures as companions
